EoIP Tunnel with Mikrotik Router

For EoIP  three important things:  1)Bridge, 2) Port, 3) Tunnel ID

The EoIP protocol encapsulates Ethernet frames in GRE (IP protocol number 47) packets (just like PPTP) and sends them to the remote side of the EoIP tunnel.

We can create point to point  or point to multipoint EoIP tunnels.

Ethernet over IP (EoIP) Tunneling is a MikroTik RouterOS protocol that creates an Ethernet tunnel between two routers on top of an IP connection. The EoIP tunnel may run over IPIP tunnel, PPTP tunnel or any other connection capable of transporting IP.

Example:
Point-1 to  Point-2 Tunnel   and Vicer versa
Point-2   to Point-3  Tunnel and Vice Versa

Point-1 Mikrotik  10.1.1.1
Point-2 Mikrotik 11.1.1.1
Point-3 Mikrotik  12.1.1.1

Creating Tunnel and also Bridge for Point-1

Creating Tunnel and also Bridge for Point-2

This way we can create Point-3 (Tunnel and also Bridge)

Need to maintain Tunnel-ID same to two point-to-point links and different Tunnel names.

Also need to add Bridge if need to use multipoint LAN accesss.

(We can create point to point  or point to multipoint EoIP tunnels. We need to change tunnel ID for separate multipoint tunnels)

  4. A decent switch bit, however, ought to be sharp, ought to hold its sharp edge, and ought to be even; this creates a piece that will last more and will "prattle" or vibrate less during use.asus router login
